Unpacking the MCU: How Long to Watch all Marvel Movies?

Who doesn’t love marvel movies, they are light-hearted, full of action, and have amazing special effects. Every Marvel movie links back to one another, missing one may lead to branches in your understanding, quality watch, and experience.

But what if…? What if you haven’t watched any of the marvel movies, how long would it take to watch all the Marvel movies?

To make things easy we will first estimate the time that would take to watch all the marvel movies till Avengers: Endgame or Phase III and then we will look into Phase IV movies.

How long would it take to watch all the MCU movies till Endgame?

There were Altogether 22 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from Iron Man(2008) to Avengers: Endgame(2019) that gives us a runtime of 2871 minutes. Which is almost 47 hours and 51 minutes(48 hours), nearly two days.

So, I assume you will need 8 hours of sleep + almost 3 extra hours for bathing, refreshing, feeding yourself (all the regular activities), 1 hour for the breaks in between the movies, which leaves us 12 hours a day.

Summing things up, it would take almost 4 days to watch all the marvel movies that were released before Endgame.

How long would it take to Watch all the Marvel Movies till Phase Three ?

On including Spider-Man: Far From Home the runtime becomes 3000 minutes, 50 hours. Add 2 more hours to your timeline, and you are good to go with Phase III of MCU.

So, it would take almost 4 and a half days for you to watch all the Marvel movies that were released till Phase 3.

How long would it take to watch The Infinity Saga?

The films from Phase One, Phase Two, Phase Three are collectively known as “The Infinity Saga“. The infinity saga sums up to 3000 minutes and depending on how much free time you have, it would take at least 4 days to weeks or maybe more to complete Infinity Saga.

How Long Would it take to Watch all the marvel Movies and TV Shows?

The infinity saga is 3000 minutes.

TV Shows

Wanda Vision with 9 episodes was 350 minutes, Loki(6 episodes) was around 300 minutes long.

What if…? had 9 episodes with an average length of 30 minutes, which leads to a total runtime of “what if…?” to be 270 minutes.

The MCU’s TV shows of Phase four clock to 920 minutes, that is almost 39 hours. It would take around 2 days to watch all the TV shows that are going to directly affect the MCU timeline.

Movies of Phase Four/After Infinity Saga

Till now, only 3 movies got released, Black Widow(2h 13m), Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings(2h 12m), Eternals (2h 37m), the total runtime becomes 422 minutes, that is 7 hours.

It would take 4342 Minutes, 73 hours to watch everything on to Marvel Cinemetic Universe. Nearly 3 days of your life will be required to watch all the marvel movies and TV shows.

As you cannot watch all the movies back to back, cutting off time for sleep and regular stuff, it will take at least 6 days to watch all the movies and shows of MCU.
